This policy explains how Restaurant Finance Network, a division of Alternative Finance Network (“we,” “us”), handles information collected through this website. We are a commercial loan broker, not a lender.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an application or contact us, we collect business information (business type, name, state, city, number of locations, time in business, revenue range, existing debt, amount requested, use of funds and timeline), contact information (name, email, phone, best time to reach you), your self-reported credit range, and any notes you add. We do not ask for Social Security numbers or EINs on this website.

Documents you upload. If you upload business bank statements, we store them so we can evaluate financing options and share them with lenders being considered for your request.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring site. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy. We record campaign parameters (such as UTM tags) included in the link you used to reach us.

How we use information

  • To review your application and identify suitable financing options
  • To contact you about your application by phone, email or text (texts only with your consent)
  • To share your application and documents with third-party lenders and funding partners being considered for your financing
  • To operate, secure and improve our website
  • To comply with legal obligations

How we share information

We share application information and documents with lenders and funding partners when evaluating financing for you. Those lenders may contact you directly and may obtain credit reports with your authorization under their own processes. We also use service providers, such as website hosting and secure file storage, which process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.

How we protect bank statements and application data

  • Uploads go directly to private, access-controlled cloud storage over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. They are not sent by email.
  • Access is limited to authorized personnel who need it to work on your file.
  • We collect only what is needed to evaluate financing. [CONFIRM WITH SCOTT: retention period and deletion process for applications and statements]

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

Calls and texts

If you check the consent box on our application, you agree that we may call or text you about your application, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of any financing. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements, by contacting us. [CONFIRM WITH SCOTT: privacy contact email]

This website is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 13.
